1) In IMG, 'Define' Org structure and complete all 'assignments'. 2) Create customer and material. 3) Create Sales Order 4) Create delivery 5) Last is billing creation
However, each step as u also know is quite huge and need several configurations. e.g. order type creation is big topic in itself. So, if u need info for some particular step or process, pls let me know.

hi deepak..can u let us know the order on how to go about SD..i mean the sequence like Order types creation followed by item categories definition.

At very broad level for SD learning steps are:
1) In IMG, 'Define' Org structure and complete all 'assignments'.
2) Create customer and material.
3) Create Sales Order
4) Create delivery
5) Last is billing creation
